OK, so my son makes this funny face on a Thurday, like he bit his tougue. He ate carefully the rest of the day not chewing too quickly. On Friday we took him out to play with some kids and eat out. He ate chicken nuggets and again he made a face like he just bit the other side of his mouth. He did not finish his nuggets but did play for a hour with the kids. We play at home he is having fun and at dinner time he will not eat. I look in his mouth and he has a sore on his tongue, it little and near the front of his mouth and I think it does not really look like he bit it but like a blister or something. He is pretty quite the rest of the night and to a parent its like heaven. He is playing with his trains and blocks and watching TV.

Saturday morning, he will not eat, and he will not drink anything. I make him show me his mouth and I see more blisters on his tongue, maybe 3 or 4. He also stopped talking too only communicating in grunts.. I took him to the emergency room and was not sure if I should or wait until Monday to see his doctor. I was scared because I had no Idea if this was no big deal or a big deal. A few sores on the tongue and I was in fear of the worst. The emergency center would not see us unless they could run my credit card for $350, and they told me it would be a minimum of 150 and I would have to deal with the Insurance company myself. There was a group in front of me argueing about the credit card thing, I gave up the plastic and got in before them. Nothing worse then getting over charged and having to wait.

When the doctor came in I tried to help him do the exam so my son would relax, he does not like Doctors, me either..Yucky.

Anyways this was when I got a real look at the inside of his mouth. He (my son) had spots or sores all over his mouth, even the roof of his mouth. EEEEeeeeeee. I was given antibiotics and Pain Medicine, yep he was in more pain then I knew.
